Ladder Rule Poll **please read entire thread before voting**

When a spot holder races to defend their spot and loses which of the two do you feel should occur??


#1 - bump the spot holder completely off the list. They than have to make a call out for a spot to get back on the list.



#2 - the spot holder gets bumped down 1 spot which will bump every spot holder down a spot. The person holding the last spot on the list (right now #5 but when we get a more full list #10) than the current spot holder and the person who is bumping them off the list shall race for the final spot on the ladder.

Well looks like its no contest so far. Looks like Tammy needs to be put back on the ladder as the number 2 spot.

Fuck it, bump them off. That'll teach them not to lose in the first place.

Also do you think we should have a post requirement to even challenge for a spot on the ladder?

Also do you think they should have to go thru the entire ladder to get to the number 1 spot or just call out whichever spot they want?

Climb the ladder.... simple as that u can't go from nobody just to top dog..

I think you should be able to call-out whoever you want to, it's simply up to the person on the ladder to accept the challenge. I for one will not race 9 other cars just to shoot for the number 1 spot. You also need to have a post requirement, meet requirement, etc...

Its a top 5 ladder if you run 9 races to get to number one then doubt you going to lat claim to it.... Work up the ladder that is your credit if you leave it open to any one to challenge for #1 from word go #1 going to be busy racing all comers. You got to have some sort of time frame for a qualified call out or people can just duck the competition if they think they are beat.

Street credit don't make you fast.

IMO You want to be #1 put in the time and effort to get to the top then step up or step off if you want to keep it.

IMO You want to be #1 put in the time and effort to get to the top then step up or step off if you want to keep it.

All very good points. I can see what your saying about the time and effort. I guess that can go hand in hand with the post count requirement as well. I don't want someone coming in with 5 posts trying to take the top spot. They get the spot than disappear. We are still a new site and with time will come changes. If we keep up the great ideas we will get this thing rolling perfect in no time.

If someone is holding a spot... and then don't post for a while they should forfeit the spot also

Unless they give us a warning b4 hand that they can't be on for a while

No I agree thats why if #2 calls out #1. #1 has to make it happen in say 6 wks time or what ever if #2 don't show then call out starts all over. Thats what I meant about got to step up to keep it.

Most forums I have been on with ladders had a 2 week requirement from the day the call out was accepted. The Spot holder did get to pick the date though. I am sure there can be exceptions such as if a car is down at the moment. I would hate for someone to catch wind of a motor being freshened up and make a call out just in hopes of a forfeit.

LOL well have to admit the only reason I said 6 wks was because I work offshore and I work 4 wk rotations. Haha But yeah I can see 2 wks.

I am sure something like that could be worked around. We are all enthusiasts and we realize work/family comes first. I spoke to Max last night and he spoke pretty highly about your truck. It makes me pretty anxious to see that bad boy in action.

Max is a good guy! If I can beat him and TLRE I will feel I have accomplished something with the truck. Until then its I just got to keep working at it. I think my truck has the ability to beat Max in a race but he is hands down more consistent and Lil red is way more reliable and we all know its not just about one fast pass its doing time and time again.

Yah Little Red is going to be coming out to play soon. He needs to order a new pair of rear tires. He seems to be getting the bugs worked out with the new setup.

Yeah I told him i got some sportsman's he can pick up for cheap he just needs another set of wheels. Then again I am toying of putting a second seat in the 03 and getting it inspected for $#!^$ and giggles.

Yeah I was talking to Max last night about bringing it out. He told me he pulled the tires off to get them balanced or something and saw a big patch of thread showing through LOL

well you never know when you might want to make a trip to mexico or just down to the store to get some groceries

Thanks guys for the voting. Looks like it was an easy decision. We will be looking to add a post count requirement soon to weed out the fly by night members.
