    my red line or rev limit is 7200. I think the 3800 rpm is not bad for 1st gear, If I only do 2nd gear I would lower it to 3200ish

    does your controller have a 1st gear lock out? You could lock it out and 0 out the activation. When you hit 2nd gear you should never see 3200 rpm.

    40 roll in 2nd gear won't be wrapping up the RPM's. Drag racing, yes, but that's like a 62mph shift.

    true but you can adjust for those type of things. Some controllers have the ability for 2 settings.

    a 500 shot will solve any problem you will have with low rpms in 2nd gear.
