New guy here

Just moved into town from Ft. Lauderdale. I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys and checking out the local tracks.
I've got a 1996 Mustang GT, it's in storage for now but once I settle into a house I will be driving it a little. We have no emissions testing in Fla so I will have to overcome that little item at some point.
Anyway, here is a pic.

Little of both, that's why I want to get it registered so I can take it to some car shows.
Not a DD though, no A/C, heater, TKO600 faceplated gears, spool.
The first pic is when I got on Passtime a couple years ago.

Actually it's a mod motor, cobra crank, Eagle rods, Diamond pistons with total seal AP rings, ported heads, vortech SI blower, etc.
With a Bullitt intake (not the Edelbrock it has now) it ran a best of 11.03@127 the first time out, no other attempts as the track kept getting shut down from broken cars.

Good deal. What side of town are you on? What tranny is behind it?

TKO600 with faceplated 2-4 gears. Still has 5th gear also.
Certainly not the fastest car around but I hope to put it into the 10's at some point which will be good enough for me...for awhile anyway

sounds like a good setup. How streetable is it? We have a good meet on Friday nights but its a bit of a drive from you.

Once I learned how to downshift it correctly I really don't have much trouble driving it around. Not nearly as bad as people said it would be, much like having a spool, not bad at all with street tires.
Where is this meet? I can map it and see from there.
