Intake comparisons for l92 heads
Ok so ive been playing around with th idea of buying a set of cnc ported l92's for my lq4 6.0 swap. I've seen that the l76 and ls3 intakes are basically the same and both out flow the l92 intake. Now I plan a running a decent cam, something in 230-240 @ .050" . Has anyone seen or heard anything about holley's hi-ram with 92/102 mm inlets? As compared to a fast lsxr? I like the idea of running the taller intake due to the 4" hood on the old camaro. I know some are gonna say heat soak is gonna hurt it but I don't see that being a problem in the old school engine compartment.. Any ideas or suggestions??

Re: Intake comparisons for l92 heads
I heard really good things about the LSXRT intake on a car. If you got the room and the hood clearance go for it. Also the L76 intake is a very good cheap alternative. I have seen it make good power. Minimal gains are made with the FAST over it.

Re: Intake comparisons for l92 heads
Cool thanks. I'll look into both of those. I haven't seen the truck version of the fast for the rectangle port heads yet.

Re: Intake comparisons for l92 heads
the Pro Flo from Edelbrock looks really good. I don't think they have made one yet for the rectangle port guys thought but I believe one is in the works. The inital cost of the intake is fairly cheap but to get it to work you may get up to 800-900$ total which still isn't horrible.
