Yeah I been looking at a diesel as our next purchase. Really like the Cummins motor but I love the look and interior of the F-250. I owned a Dodge Ram back in 06 and I hated the interior. Thats my only real complaint though

They say cummins is the best, I would not get 07 newer on any of the diesels. You always see the dodge hauling stuff around more then chevy/fords

Yeah my dad has an 06 Cummins and that thing has been a beast. I threw an AFE cold air and a Flashpaq tuner on it and that thing rolls out fairly well.

I would more than likely pick up an 04-06 Model and have custom leather put in it since the cloth is crap.

have them put in built in cameras, so you can video 360

Why would you not buy a Diesel from 2007+? I want to get one, but I like the newer body styles better. GM Duramax that is, I like the quiet sound. The Powerstroke and Cummins are both pretty loud from what I recall.

im no diesel mechanic but i see alot more powerstrokes at my shop than either of the others. we dont mess with too many diesels tho.

I think Powerstrokes may have injector pump issues as well.

Dodge or Chevy diesel, the 07-2011 has that POS exhaust that gets pluged, the GPM suck you get like 10 mpg pulling and 15gpm not pulling, I went with the last year of 5.9 cummins because its been out for years, I don't hear to many bad things about the chevy nor the dodge, look at all the trucks pulling most of them are dodges

its a particulate filter and the burn off using fuel to de coke the filter really chucks the fuel mileage up. As for ratty ol dodges ...they can yank more than the funky ol frame can take.
