Sorry this was not the race you were supposed to run. The ladder is not a make the rules as you go type deal. WickedG8 had 2 weeks to run the race with outlaw. Outlaw bowed out and you were his replacement. Wicked had until this Friday to run his race. Please check the forum before you bring it upon yourself to make decisions on behalf of the forum.

Lonestar was aware of this so I am not sure who persuaded him to come out anyways.

Here at Houston1320.com we do not believe in many rules for drag racing. We do believe that real racing starts from a dig! If you are calling out a spot holder it is the spot holders choice to pick a date. The date must be within 14 days of the call out date. Now we prefer all races be from a dig. All races will be 1/4 mile only! That is 1320 feet of race just like the name of this site! We are not the Houston mile so please keep it to a 1/4 mile race ONLY. The start of the race should be started by a 3rd party that way there is no favortism on honks of any kind. I know this may not always be possible but this should be discussed prior to the race by the two participating parties. If you are not racing please do not voice your opinion as this will only complicate anything. If there are any discrepancies we the staff will intervene and offer our 3rd party advice. All races must be recorded for video proof. We look forward to the call outs! Let the racing begin.

The Rules for a street car are as follows
-tagged
-inspected
-run what ya brung and hope you brought enough!

When a spot holder loses his spot they will be bumped down on the ladder to the spot below. This will in turn bump the lower spots down a slot. The current final spot holder will then have to race the person who is bumping him off the list. If the current final spot holder defends his spot successfully than he remains in the spot and the other person is bumped off the ladder. If there is any confusion feel free to post up or PM Houston1320.

I stress that NO LAND WILL BE GIVEN IN ANY RACE! This is not an option! If you need land don't bother calling them out. Take the time to go home and get more mods than come back for a HEADS THE F*CK UP RACE!

that rule says "when calling out a spot holder" no one racing was a spot holder. this was mearly to help u fill the list. lonestar was fully aware of how this was going to turn out.

we also had a prior conversation about this race before it happened and u agreed it would be fine for the ladder. why u suddenly decided to change ur mind is beyond me. all slowmaro is wanting is to get on the list. he doesnt much care what place hes in. hes now raced for the list twice and been denied a position. the first race was understandable but i dont agree with this decision

Seeing how the rules are not clear enough for some people we will give him his spot. Do I agree with it? No I most certainly do not. However we will make the rules much more clear to get some kind of order around here. We will not accept these "oh I lined up with so and so" can I have a spot type deals.

Lonestarz and Slomaro send me pics as soon as possible.

Wicked had already called out Txoutlaw for the spot. Outlaw bowed out due to his car being down. Wicked technically could have had the spot. We don't give away spots here so we were going to fill in his spot with Slomaro. Slomaro was a fill in. Wicked should of had the courtesy of racing for the spot that could of rightfully been his to begin with. We want to be fair to everyone but in the end I don't feel WickedG8 was given the courtesy he deserved.

Well thats exactly what is going to have to happen. However I do feel this race needs to happen on Friday since thats what should of happened in the first place.

on a side note, i believe there is a loophole in the rules. if u dont give spots away without a race what happens if, say, i call out bill or tammy or nathan and they forfeit or refuse to race?

slomaro is already prepared for it.

the only way a race is "given" away is if the 14 day guideline is bypassed. Than the spot holder gives up the spot. However I would than set up a race with the person who challeneged the spot and the person in the spot below due to the fact of the spotholder forfeiting it than moves each spot up one.
